Fools’ Paradise, the musical (CONCERT VERSION), is a mix of circus folk, cartoon-ish characters, love, death, melody and loud rock. Through songs, narration and slides, it follows the lives of a circus troupe in Paris, France during the time of the Nazi invasion while they resist the takeover of their country and test the bonds of friendship and love. A story poignant to today’s times, it features some of the favorite musicians and troubadours of Florida’s rock scene. Book, music, lyrics, musical direction, and presentation by Jim Camacho; directed by Juan Cejas; additional script by Ken Clement. Live sound by Pascal Jacquelin, Filmed by Steven Fischer and Devon Dailey. Special thanks for his help in full script not included in concert version goes to Lee Anderson. Drawings and design by Jorge Molina, Jeff Washburn & Noah Waller.
