I’m thrilled to announce that the Jim Camacho Band will be opening for the legendary Denny Laine Thursday, March 10, 2016 at the Culture Room in Fort Lauderdale. The band will feature a couple of usual suspects – Jordan Welch on drums, Fritz Dorigo and Fernando Perdomo on guitar, plus yours truly on bass, keys and acoustic guitar – and a couple of special guests: Steph Taylor on keys, acoustic guitar and background vocals, and Michael Mut on bass. In addition, I’m super-excited about this show because it will serve as the video and single release for my latest track, “Make It to the Morning Light”, a world music influenced song I wrote during a recent visit to South Africa.
